It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to learn Tarot from Janis King who is one of the masters in this field. Janis is very approachable and patient and has the ability to simplify complex concepts so that it is easy for a lay person to understand. She makes things real by giving examples of situations to which we can all relate. The content provides a good, thorough and insightful grounding. We covered the Minor and Major Arcana in detail and the process from Aces to Tens in each of the suits. We also spent time understanding the role of the Royals and ended with basic card reading and how to ask questions. We received an excellent presentation afterwards reflecting what we had learned and Zoom recordings of our session which I found very useful (I like to type them out so I can reflect on the session and remind myself of key points). I think . Each separate session begins with a recap and a chance to seek clarification on what we have not fully grasped, so we can move on to the next stage with greater knowledge and confidence. Janis is so very generous with her time - you never felt she was clock watching or trying to hurry you along. She is an inspirational and empathetic coach, mentor and guide. I would highly recommend learning Tarot with her.
